The topic for this week is “music” in Star Wars, whether in media or in-universe. (I can’t believe we haven’t done this theme, but apparently not?)

The lo-fi version of Ahsoka’s theme is nice.
Weird Al’s tpm song parody of American Pie is hilarious and a classic.
Probably the wildest songs that references Star Wars is Natalie’s Rap pt 1 and 2. It’s wild hearing Padme rap and swear lol

First: I'm currently playing Republic Commando and the soundtrack is amazing. I mean, if you're into the "haunting choral" kind of soundtrack vibe, which I very much am. Here's some of the tracks as a YouTube playlist (there might be some more tracks around, I don't think it got an official release). My favorite is definitely "Vode An" and then "Dha Verda Werda" (I have very mixed feelings about the way Traviss adapted it into the book series, but damn, that track is so good.)
Second: Sideways has some very cool music analysis videos about Star Wars soundtracks (warning, he's not a fan of the sequels):
