Date: 2022-09-16 08:50 pm (UTC)Oh, I hate my brain. I distinctly remember I've recently thought about a thing, "now that would make a cool Star Wars show", but I can't remember what it was!
Oh well. I really like the idea of more shows that do their own thing in a Star Wars setting. Disney seems to be playing bingo with TV show genres, so maybe... a police procedural? A hospital show? Oooh, horror might be interesting. I'm not a horror fan, but if it was at the level of early Supernatural seasons I could take it.
(But actually, I just really want my X-Wing movie, dammit.)

Ditto Qi'ra--- apparently there are some tie-in materials that deal with her life after the Solo movie, but I'm wondering what she was up to by the time of the ST. (No lie, I am imagining that Lando's old friend Qi'ra, now the head of Crimson Dawn, is one of the people Lando went to for the Dunkirk armada at the end of TROS. And that she has a place at the table for whatever post-movie governmental-formation type of thing is presumably going on.) (Because a galaxy that has at least one world that's just a city definitely has supply chains and the like to be looked after. And also something something Jimmy Hoffa, crime bosses, and organized labor and possibly Enfys and Qi'ra are meeting in the middle on those issues?) (My headcasting for ST-era Qi'ra is Dame Helen Mirren circa her performance in "The Good Liar", accept no substitutes.)
Also Maz--- if she had literally run that "watering hole" for a thousand years, that's a thousand years worth of stories, plus whatever she did to acquire it.
