Thanks đ I know I've missed posts, if for no other reason than I'm sometimes traveling or otherwise away. But I do want to help keep the community active.
I think that changing the schedule to a once a week post instead of Mondays and Fridays makes sense. Unfortunately while I sometimes see people posting about Star Wars on their accounts or sometimes other places, it doesn't seem to make its way here. âšī¸ I think it's very hard to get people to share in communities these days, especially since it's more of an effort on DW than on other platforms where something can simply be reblogged.
Plus with no way to indicate reading without commenting things can seem a lot deader. I know there are a number of posts I read each day but don't have anything to say in reply, or at least not in the moment. I wish it was possible to just click in a "I've seen this" sort of way.
But communities are not just for sharing but discussion and I wish I could offer any suggestions on that front. I run several communities and know it's as much luck as anything else.
In that vein, tv_talk does affiliate with other TV related communities here at DW and dreamwars certainly qualifies these days. Also, perhaps try making a post there and promote this comm or even do a monthly post there to get some discussion going? With luck it might carry over to a regular group here.
